Summary Afraid and unsure of how Angel will react to the news of her pregnancy and the unknown parentage of the baby, is almost too much for Buffy to bear but she knows she has to do the right thing and come clean. Apart from of how stressful that is, their impending parenthood is the least of their problems when reality once more throws them a curve ball.
Buffy and Angel have been through hell and high water to get to this point in their lives and they won’t let anything get in their way again. Love and a deep devotion to each other is what will see them through. For the past is the past and their future is wide open…unknown and unwritten.
No matter what, love will conquer all.
Author’s Note There has been a lot of angst, suffering, betrayal and pain throughout this series, as well as a soul binding love and deep seated passion for each other, for family, and for the truth. Initially when I thought of this last installment my thoughts were pretty much the same…more soap opera like angst, however when it came time to actually write it I realized that I didn’t want Angel and Buffy to be thrown back into that cesspool of negativity, so I decided that this final book would be one that was full of optimism and love – hence the title. Of course there will be some angst, every good Buffy and Angel tale should have some, but the overall feeling I wanted to give was hope, and that no matter what happens in life there is always a sunny side even though it is not always that easy to see.

My sincerest thanks to all the readers who have taken this story and held it close to their hearts, may this final installment give you a sense of closure yet at the same time a feeling of infinity. For though the story ends here for me, Buffy and Angel continue to live on.
