Yes, it's finally posted - but don't get too excited - not much of Buffy and Angel in this chapter, it's one of those chaps that move the story along. So it's not that exciting.
I know it took a long time to post this and I apologize but I did say before even posting the prologue that this was the way it would most likely be. There are too many things going on for me, and for my beta, right now to write, beta, and post chapters on a weekly basis. My beta has some travelling coming up for work and I've been recovering from minor surgery which makes it hard to even sit at my desk for work let alone sit at home and write. And I've not been feeling 100%, so the muse isn't always around. Things will get better for me, and hopefully by the time my beta gets back from travelling I'll have a couple more chaps for her to beta.
But for now...I'm forwarning. I do not know when the next chapters will be posted. I'll update here when I can with what I have gotten done but I honestly don't see anything new getting posted for at least another month. That, will hopefully be enough time for my beta to come back and do her thing.
I'm sorry this sounds dismal and it is, but only for a short time. Please don't be concerned that this story won't get finished because it will. I would never start to post and then drop it completly. It just may take a while and I hope that you can be patient and wait it out with me.
In the interim, I was working on the sub-domain for D'rkenrealm. I thought since posting TRCG is going to be slow that I would give you something else to sink your teeth into.
Again, it's going slow too, but I should have something ready to show you by the end of the week.
So that's that. I know it sucks and I'm sorry but it's the best that I can give right now.

What is D'Rkenrealm?
A dimension on the outskirts of our own, this realm made it's first appearance in the Buffy and Angel story Mine: Here, There, Anywhere first posted in 2004.
In Mine, Buffy discovered a world different from her own. A place where supernatural beings lived peacefully with mortals. Here she discovered that no matter how many dimensions are crossed, true love and passion - soul mates - will always find each other. In the end Buffy was granted all that she ever wanted a home and family, love and peace.
Now revisit D'Rkenrealm with the stories of a once peaceful world that has been torn apart by ignorance and war.
A series that will take you from sunny California to the mystical highlands of Scotland. From the cold aridity of Russia to steamy Brazilian nights. From the east to the west discover a world where deep love and endless passions await you. Where destinies are learned and lived. A place where truth, honesty, and foregivness overcome betrayal, lies and fears. It's a world whose history is as deep-seated and ageless as our own.
This will be my first attempt at writing an original storyline, creating my own world, and my own characters. Each book in the series will showcase one of Buffy and Angelus' children; their fears and hopes, their dreams and destines, and the roads they will travel to find their soul mates.
While these stories are a long way down the road in being completed and posted, I wanted to whet your appeitie just a bit - don't be surprised, you know what a tease I can be *g* - and get a feeling of the readers interest in these stories. Re-occuring BTVS Characters from Mine are Buffy, Angelus, Oz, Willow, Spike, Dawn, and Darla, they will all make appearances during the course of the series the frequency depends on what story is being told.
Eventually D'Rkenrealm will have it's own sub-domain, filled with an indepth history, character introductions, and a small preview into each planned book. For now, I'll post little tid-bits here regarding anything D'Rkenrealm like where I'm at and so forth.
To start with there are somethings that I've taken the liberty with and changed from what was in Mine. Bad form? Most likely. But hey, I can do that because it's my story *G*. I've also made a minor change when it comes to using the Buffyverse terminology (there are reasons for this which I will explain at a much later time.)
The most obvious is the name D'Rkenrealm. In Mine, this was never mentioned nor was it implied that the realm Buffy feel into was called anything other then Earth. Creating this realm, one that is ruled by Goddesses and Gods, and where the supernatural plays the major role in just about everything, I decided that a new name was needed. Another change is that in Mine, Darla was the sire of Angelus. In the D'Rkenrealm series this is not the case. The Master was the one to sire Angelus, which makes Darla his vamp-sister. As I started to develope the intricate history of D'Rkenrealm, and the characters place within that history, this change needed to be done.
As for the terminology, don't freak out it's nothing crazy, but I decided to scrap the use of the word Slayer. In D'Rkenrealm women like Buffy are called Shikars, which by the way is an ancient word meaning slayers. See that wasn't so bad, was it.
I wanted to create a world that was similiar to our own with respect to modern conveniences and such, yet the culture is very much stuck in the past. A world that is both old yet new. A world that I hope takes on a life of it's own as the story is told.
Abaigeal Donovan is the youngest and only daughter of D'Rkenrealm's Overlord Angelus Donovan and his mate Buffy Summers. She is a young self confident woman who fears nothing except falling in love, especially with a dominate vampire. Yet, when she meets Lord General Nikolai Kotova she can't help but feel pulled to the enigmatic alpha male vamp.
Lord General Nikolai Kotova has lived for centuries and fighting a battle he has never believed in. The endless fighting has left him feeling cold and lost, unsure of exactly who and what his purpose is. Though he is unaware, a violent past follows his every move, hiding lies and secrets that in their telling will forever change him and change the world.
A catalytic meeting between two strong willed people sets the course for things to come.
Abaigael will fight her own desires and Nikolai's unrelenting seduction until she learns that falling in love doesn't have to mean losing herself.
